    Asians are currently endlessly questioning what ‘Asian arts’ stands for.

    Beyond the question of identity, meaning, substance or the endless ‘Asian reality’ debate – relatively little has been done in questioning or deconstucting the trajectories through which ‘art’ in asia has found itself institutionalized in its current form. Are we going to accept, reject or reinvent this current state of institutionalization?
